| QUESTION: Hello
Do I need to place the two leds first in series and then the chain of two parallel to the exisiting tail light? What about polarity?
Kind regards,
Fred |
| ANSWER: The units are polarized, red wire for positive, black wire for negative. If you have a separate set of wires going to the old license plate light, put the two units in parallel and observe the polarity. If there are not separate license plate wires, then you put them in parallel with the taillight circuit by making T-splices. There are no connections in series in any application of these LED units, as that would diminish the intensity of the light output. |
